Advent. "To come." Jesus came! To earth! To us! Quoting The ADVENTure of Christmas, The season of Advent is all about looking forward to celebrating the day when our almighty God stepped into history as a human being. To start off our Advent celebration, we set up an Advent Wreath to be used on the four Sundays before Christmas. The wreath is a circle, for God's unending love. The first purple candle is Hope. The second purple candle is Peace. The pink candle is Joy. The final purple candle is Love.
We will add a white pillar in the center to represent Christ, Who is the center of Christmas, and Who came to bring us Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.
